Jamie Webster is playing Wrexham before the year is out

The Rockin' Chair has the Liverpool singer in Wrexham on Friday 4 December 2026, four days before the first home game of the month.

Jamie Webster is coming to Wrexham. The Rockin' Chair has announced that the Liverpool singer will play the venue on Friday 4 December 2026.

No ticket price has reached us but tickets will go on sale 2nd Oct 2026 via live nation.

Why this matters for a December stay

Webster sells out rooms as well as rooms sell out gigs. He plays to football crowds, he is from up the road, and a Friday night in Wrexham will pull people in from Merseyside and Chester on a train that takes under an hour.

The other thing in the diary is the football. Wrexham AFC are at home at the Racecourse three times in December 2026: Charlton Athletic on the 8th at 19:45, Queens Park Rangers on the 19th at 15:00 and Blackburn Rovers on the 29th at 18:00. The gig misses all three, but it sits four days before the Charlton game, so anyone stringing the two together is looking at a long weekend's worth of beds rather than one night's.

Where to be if you are staying over

For a town centre night, the town centre list is the honest answer: everything on it is close enough that you are not negotiating a taxi at half eleven with three hundred other people doing the same.

Boutique33 is eight minutes' walk from the Racecourse and has self check-in round the clock, which suits a late finish better than a front desk does. The City Centre Apartment is the one to look at if there are three or four of you splitting it. The Wynnstay Arms puts you above a pub on the square, which is the recommendation and the warning in one line.

If the 4th has already gone by the time tickets are out, Ramada Plaza is a mile out on the A483 and tends to still have space when the rest of the town does not. It is a twenty-two minute walk back, uphill in places, and worth the taxi fare after a gig.

Before the doors open

Assuming an evening start, there is an afternoon to fill. The eleven pubs in a square mile walk covers most of the drinking within a few hundred metres of each other, and dinner before kick-off is organised by how much time you have left, which works just as well for a support slot as it does for a 19:45.
